A campervan holiday is a dream for many people - and for good reason, as this crazy trip has as many pluses as it does logistical nuances that need to be well thought out. We give you tips on how to plan the perfect trip, how to prepare, where to go and how to organise the trip of your life!
Why is a campervan on holiday a great idea?
A campervan holiday combines the best of relaxed, unhindered travel with the comfort offered by today's travel car models. In other words, you enjoy all the charms of spending the night in the wild, moving about as you please, with the comforts offered by classic accommodations, which you cannot find in a tent, for example.
The campervan means no stress about booking accommodation, no rigid schedule and no fighting against time in case of delays, it also means unfettered contact with nature (you can wake up by the lake at sunrise and have coffee on the beach) and is an opportunity to enjoy the journey itself - not just the destination.
In order to plan such a trip effectively, you need to work out all the steps necessary to ensure your comfort and safety. So pay attention to:
- appropriate choice of region and date - whether you care about the city, the mountains or the water and what weather is predicted for the time,
 - checking available routes - where the road ends, beyond which you can no longer drive your mobile home,
 - legal aspects - where you can park, where you are free to camp wild, what permits or vignettes are required by the place you are travelling to and what the traffic regulations are in the country,
 - contingency plans - always have a plan B, or even a plan C, because, after all, a campervan is made to travel flexibly,
 - choice of vehicle - What model of campervan to buy or hire to meet your needs.

Kampervan Volkswagen California - co oferuje ten model?
The Volkswagen California campervan is one of those models that already has a cult following among those interested in caravanning and leisurely travel. All because it provides the perfect combination of driving convenience and camping comfort.
The model combines a driving sensation similar to that of a passenger car with a miniature home that you can easily organise inside the vehicle. It is compact in size, so driving it does not require any above-average skills. For this reason, it is suitable for people inexperienced in handling huge vehicles that are difficult to steer.
Folding beds, a table, seats, an awning - with the latter you can create a terrace right under the campervan, and the canopy will protect you both from the rain and from the glaring sun. So you can create an encampment, and you can do so anywhere - wherever you want to watch a picturesque sunrise or sunset.
The Volkswagen California campervan also offers the opportunity to comfortably prepare meals in a miniature kitchen and the option to personalise the space to suit your needs.

- Masuria-Podlasie-Bieszczady route - During the trip, which you can make in a few days but freely stretch over several weeks, you will spend time in some of the purest and wildest places in Poland. - Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska - You can follow the famous Eagles' Nests Trail, along which you will visit castles, spend the night amidst a rugged, rocky landscape, as well as learn about the various monuments, regional attractions and try climbing if that is your dream.
 - Baltic coast - analogous to the R10, the famous cycling route that runs for over 500 kilometres along the sea. You can plan your journey from Swinoujscie to Hel - you will visit hundreds of kilometres of beaches, including wild, less popular ones, and do your shopping in tourist towns such as Mielno or Miedzyzdroje, where life is vibrant. The route is suitable for campervan travellers, with plenty of campsites and official accommodation prepared.

If your goal is to travel abroad, check out the following destinations:
- Norwegian fjords - A logistically demanding but wildly interesting journey through a land rich in landscapes that can hardly be found anywhere else. Raw Nordic nature, good infrastructure, wildlife and flexible accommodation options.
 - Croatia and the Adriatic coast - warm, beautiful, excellent camping facilities - what more could you want?
 - France - a route along picturesque vineyards, castles and incredible culture, all in the slow spirit in which the French live.

The destinations are, of course, exemplary, as the campervan is used to travel anywhere there is a road - Italy is also popular, especially in mountainous areas such as the Dolomites - ideal for fans of climbing, via ferratas, amazing views and high peaks.
What to take on a campervan trip? The holiday traveller's essentials
A campervan holiday requires logistical preparation - after all, it's all about making yourself as comfortable as possible. Among the most important things to take with you are certainly:
- technical equipment - powerbanks, extension cords, inverters, headlamps - anything that provides you with electricity and can save the situation in case of unforeseen moments,
 - kitchen equipment - The campervan has a place to cook, so take along crockery, cutlery, all in a mini version so you can fit more accessories,
 - stocks - there may be times when you won't do the shopping, so it is a good idea to have dry provisions with you, such as instant soups, freeze-dried meals, and a supply of drinking water,
 - appropriate clothing - Stock up on duvets, sleeping bags or blankets, as well as emergency clothing kits, a rain jacket and anything else you might need in the event of a sudden weather collapse,
 - safety accessories - First aid kit with accessories, fire extinguisher, various repair kits and multitools, in short, an emergency essential,
 - comfort accessories - a hammock, comfortable cushions, food storage containers, a portable coffee brewer and a supply of coffee itself, as well as, for example, board games, a portable console or something to pass the time inside the campervan - for example, when the weather breaks.

A bluetooth speaker can also come in handy (just make sure there are no noise restrictions where you park), and if you're into sporting activities, it's a good idea to take along, for example, a badminton or skateboard set, rollerblades or something else compact.
Holidays with children, friends or solo? A campervan for everyone
Who you spend your campervan holiday with is entirely up to you. The plus side of travelling this way for many people is that you can organise leisurely solo trips - the car gives you complete mobility and flexibility, plus it's a great option for introverts who appreciate peace and quiet.
The campervan is also an option for socialising with friends or family, and at a level that may not have been possible before. You spend the whole trip together, sleep together, have adventures together - sounds good?
