InPost launches anniversary Paczkomat device in Poland
The InPost Group, a leader in logistics solutions for the e-commerce industry in Europe, already has 25,000 Paczkomat machines in Poland, and on 13 December officially launched its anniversary machine, which is located in Warsaw's Gocławek at 3 Koprzywiańska St. This round number coincided with InPost's 25th anniversary.
During the official launch of the 25,000th Parcel Machine, all customers sending and receiving parcels received special gifts from Santa couriers, and with a special button they could activate the artificial snowfall and light installation that decorated the machine. The whole event was accompanied by Christmas songs, sung live by a choir, and hot chocolate was served to all guests.
- This year marks the 25th anniversary of InPost and we have just launched the 25,000th Paczkomat machine in Poland. In the 15 years since we installed the first machine, we have revolutionised the logistics market in Poland, completely changing consumer preferences. Today we can boast the largest logistics network not only in Poland, but also in Europe. We started with just a few machines, and today practically every Pole knows the InPost brand. According to Kantar research, 93% of online shoppers choose Paczkomat machine deliveries - thank you for your trust! - says Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of InPost .
According to an October study by Kantar, an international research agency, InPost is the best recognised parcel delivery brand - it received as many as 99% of indications. In addition, 93% of Polish Internet users shopping online choose Paczkomat InPost as their delivery method and 85% as their shipping method. Meanwhile, 83% of respondents consider Paczkomat InPost to be the most environmentally friendly delivery method. Willingness to recommend Paczkomat InPost devices - the NPS indicator - reached a level as high as 77 points.
At the end of Q3 2024, the InPost Group recorded a significant increase in volumes, sales and profitability, and continues to expand its network of Paczkomat machines, with their number reaching 43,812 devices, having increased by 33% y/y. In Q3, the Group handled 262 million parcels, up 25% y-o-y, while revenues recorded a 23% y-o-y jump to PLN 2.54 billion.
At the end of Q3, the InPost Group had nearly 79,000 out-of-home points, including almost 44,000 modern Parcel Machines and nearly 35,000 PUDO points in 9 countries (UK, France, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands). In the last 12 months, the Group has installed a record number of machines - as many as 10,000, increasing the number of devices by as much as one third year-on-year.
