In light of the coronavirus threat, do I have to prepare the damage report in the presence of a courier or go to the nearest InPost branch office?
No, due to the increased security needs during the coronavirus pandemic, we have introduced a shortened, electronic damage report, which you can fill out on-line here.
The form will allow you to draw up a shortened damage report for damaged courier and Parcel Locker shipments. You can complete it without the participation of the courier and without having to go to the InPost branch office. You must attach photos of the damaged parcel to the completed form - they are necessary for the complaint to be processed. If there are no photos, the Complaints Department will ask you to provide them. Remember that the process of filing a damage report is independent of the complaint process. This means that you should also complete the standard complaint form found here.
