How to pack a parcel

In order for the parcel to reach the recipient safely, pack it in suitably durable packaging, appropriate for the contents of the parcel (envelope, cardboard box, container, pallet).

The size of the package should fit its contents well, so as to minimize empty spaces inside it. If there are empty spaces in the package, use partitions and fillers, e.g. bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and/or shaped polystyrene.

The durability of the packaging should be appropriate for the weight and shape of the contents. If you are reusing packaging, remember to remove any old markings or labels.
