When did your adventure with sport begin?
I started my professional adventure with judo at the age of 12, but the idea of trying it had already occurred to me two years earlier. My mother motivated me to fight for my dreams and it was she who made me go to my first training session.
Do you practice any other sports, do you sometimes try something else?
Professionally, I only practice judo. However, training in combat sports requires the development of various skills, hence supplementary training in the form of short or long runs, and even strength exercises.
Who or what motivates you to train regularly?
I want to be the best in the world, and striving for that goal is my biggest motivation. When I have moments of doubt, my coach always helps me.
What do you consider your greatest personal or professional success?
I believe that the best is yet to come.
What is your life motto?
My motto is a quote from one of the best coaches in the world, Hiromi Tomita: Just training, training, and more training.
Your biggest dream?
I dream of winning a gold medal at the Olympic Games and the World Championships.
Who inspires you? Do you have an idol?
I draw inspiration from different people, but I've never had an idol.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
I don't look that far into the future, but I hope I will look back on my judo achievements with a smile.
Your best result, your most important record?
It's the silver medal at the Polish Junior Championships.
What do you think: is breaking records a matter of luck or hard training?
I think hard work is the most important thing, but a little bit of luck also helps.
How do you spend your free time?
I train a lot, so I devote every free moment to studying.
If you weren't an athlete, you would be...?
I can't imagine doing anything else.
