What is parcel storage in temporary Parcel Lockers?

If there is no room in the Parcel Locker of your choice, the courier will place your parcel in a temporary Parcel Locker, where there are lockers available. Temporary storage of parcels at Parcel Lockers is available 24/7, which is why this process is a convenient alternative to storing parcels at PUDO Points.

What does it mean that shipments are stored in Parcel Lockers?

  • Parcels for which there are no free lockers in the selected Parcel Locker will be temporarily stored in a nearby available Parcel Locker or PUDO point.
  • They will remain there for 1 full business day, and uncollected parcels will be placed in the Parcel Locker originally selected by the Customer on the next business day.
  • The maximum distance between the originally selected Parcel Locker and Parcel Locker in which the parcel is temporarily stored, is 2 km (in a straight line).
  • During temporary storage, the Customer has the option of collecting the parcel remotely or using the same pickup code / QR code as in the original Parcel Locker.

The process of temporary storage of in a Parcel Locker has dedicated status notifications, providing information about the status of the parcel at each stage of delivery.
During the entire transport and storage process, you will be informed about the status of your shipment by email and / or text messages and in the InPost Mobile application. You will always know where to go to collect your shipment.
