How to send a parcel to Poland from Portugal?
Go to InPost.pt*. If you have a user account, log in with your email address and password. Then select “Entrar”.
*For people who do not know the local language, the browser function of translating pages may be helpful.
On the page, select the "Envio de encomenda" tab (in English: send the parcel) or go directly to InPost.pt/envio-de-encomenda.
Provide basic information, i.e. the country (país) to which you want to send the parcel and the weight (peso) of the parcel in kilograms.
Are you sending to Poland (Polónia)? It should look something like this:
After completing the weight, the site will automatically calculate the amount due in the local currency, i.e. Euro. The price (preço) includes insurance (compensação). You can then increase the value. The price for the parcel depends largely on its dimensions and weight.
Data of the recipient in Poland
In the Destinatário section, select the "Insira o endereço de envio do destinatário" option. Fill in the necessary information on The Recipient (Apelido = Last Name, Nome = First Name, Morada = Address, Código postal = Postal Code, Localidade = Location), including a valid phone number and address.
Almost there!
Accept the privacy policy (política de privacidade), select the Paczkomat device in Poland to which your parcel is to be delivered (search for it by postal code or city) and click "Validar o meu envio" (confirm the parcel).
Once all the data is filled in correctly, the system will take you to the page where you will complete the formalities.
Pay attention to stick the label in a safe and visible spot. It is where all the key information is located.
Done! End of tour. 😊
